Oh boy! Look at all that neat stuff! Care to give a few tutorials on how to make them? I promise TO steal your ideas! [/i]
I wanna know everything! First.. the beer can spinner. I've had more than my share of beer...but I just can't figure out how you made the spinner. Same with the soda bottle flower. What was the plastic canvas from and how did you make the pieces?
ok tomorrow I will try to walk you through them ok? I am headed to bed right now and the plastic canvas is needlepoint canvas
I am trying to figure out how to explain how to do these for you the beer can spinner is made with coors aluminum bottles but can also be done with reg cans you measure your can and mark strips around cut from topridge to bottom ridge and gently mash down punch hole in cap and bottomand I unbent a wire clothes hanger and strung about6 to 10 beads depending on size then a can then some more beads and another can and so on till you get the effect you desire hang and watch them spin enjoy
soda bottle tulips 20 oz 7up bottle it will already have the tulip petals you just cut out in between the petals and paint walla tulips small flowers are yogurt cups cut in strips almost to the bottom bend outwards and cut the tips in a circle and paintthen cut a cicle of fun foam to fit inside cup and glue and paint your faces on for everything outside I use e6000 glue let it dry
Ohhh... you're using those "bottle cans". Now I see it. And the soda bottle spinner... now is see the soda bottle. I think I need to make a beer run today! Thanks for sharing your great stuff.
Thanks Denny... will definitely attempt to make some of these. I love whirly-thingys... but the one's from the stores just don't seem to last.
I learn something new all the time... I have never seen or heard of "bottle cans" Is beer the only thing that comes in these? and is it regional? I haven't seen this on packages and I have never seen anything like this along the road and we have plenty of litter just tossed out here. And since I don't drink beer I really don't check out the "new" items in the liquor isle, although I will now... .
I think they have been around here for at least 5 years now. They are basically aluminum cans shaped like a regular beer bottle. Do an internet search to see them. I know Bud and Coors sell them.... I don't think sodas are using them. Ain't this forum great for learning all sorts of stuff! :-D
