Hi, My name is toot, and I LOVE FLOWERS. I've loved growing flowers for about 31 years now. Growing flowers is a continuous project for me. I am glad to be a member of this forum, and I'm certain that I will enjoy interacting with my fellow gardeners here.

Hi Toot, welcome to Gardenstew, from Chelmsford, MA, there are loads of things to see and do, forums, gardens, blogs and plants keep us all busy. So join in the fun, welcome aboard. Jerry
A sincere thanks to all of you, my fellow gardners for your very warm welcomes. Growing flowers is my primary hobby. My beds all consist of perennial plants and shrubs and bulbs. I'm one of those people that tend to garden year round, because it seems like I can find something to do in my yard all the time. This time of the year especially I tend to get flower fever, and I start making trips to the nurseries to see what I can find new to plant.
Hello from Texas. I garden all year around, too. I have more vegetables than flowers right now. The tomato that I planted on Tuesday has a flower if that counts. Please, pictures of your flowers. dooley
Hi Toot Welcome to Gardenstew from southern Ontario! Brent showed us a photo of your garden ... gorgeous! I'd love to see more
Welcome Toot to this wonderfully friendly, informative, and fun community. Looking forward to seeing photo's of all the flowers you love to grow. I do both veggie and flowers. Say good thing you didn't put Tooty as that is part of my avatar name here at the stew. Again, glad you and your son are apart of this world wide community. Have a super weekend.
Hi Toot & welcome from Iowa, where it is quite cool today, but sunny. Next week we can expect 70's,yay!I just looked at your garden pics. You are a very accomplished gardener & I suspect it is more than just a hobby. Certainly a passion.I didn't realize there are so many people who feel as i do about gardening until I got into these garden forums. Makes one feel they are normal after all! I'm still finding my way around GS myself. Just starting to get people straight. Lots of Texans here but when you realize just how big Texas is these folks aren't neighbors & have different weather.
