Show Off Your Very Unusual Containers..Sinks, Toilets, etc!

I have enjoyed seeing all the unusual planters.I have a comode in my yard at home.I have old tires I have planted Iris'es in I also have an old wheel barrow. I have all kinds of junk in my yard.When I get back home I'll get them all potted up a pair of old boots.
I will get planted up.I love all the pictures you have posted.

My sister's boots needed replanting and the other pair were worn out so she gave me those, too.

This is my miniature garden in my spaghetti bowl. Rocks, fern, polka-dot plant, oxalis montana and unknown plant. And Mr. Froggy.

 

Hey Toni! How deep did you plant your petunias in the mailbox?? Did you fill the bottom with something to take up all that space?? :-?

I've loved looking at all the original novel ideas for planters. I feel inspired - I think I'll rummage through the garage and see what I can come up with.

I saw a doggie container yesterday but alas it was for drinking from, not planting in.

 

Here's a couple of pictures of my current project I'm working on today. Last year I cut back all of the branches on two very overgrown evergreen shrubs that were over running the front side walk/gate area, and growing through the fence over the front side walk. I didn't take any pictures of them "before" I cut them back last year, but here's a picture of the right side today where it shows the dead branches left that have to be removed still. It is the before of the next picture of what I'm working on, on the left side of the path.

Now Here is a picture of the left side of the path. I have cut the branches back to the stump (although they still stick up about a foot, it is so thick and hard I can't cut anymore). I cut an old beat up garbage container in half, and put it over the stump, and am surrounding it with brick. There are tons of bricks laying around the front and back yard so I'm going to use those. This pic is half done. I am going to plant inside the containers when it is done.

now that's using the old noggin'...lol...can't wait for the pics

 

Finally got 3 hollow tree logs and 1 pair of jeans stuffed and planted some seeds. Will take pictures when they start growing. Will be moving the old building in pretty soon and setting up the old toliet and getting things planted.
