    Hi,

My name is Steve and I live in North Wales in the UK.

I have recently retired and hopefully want to get my garden to look like a garden as it has been neglected for some years. :(

I am also very fortunate to have a stream coming through my garden.

    Best wishes to all

    Steve

Welcome to GardenStew Steve from another resident of the UK. I'm from a conservation village in West Lothian, Scotland.
I really envy you having a stream running through your garden as I have had to make do with a man-made pond. In saying that the frogs, toads, newts and various aquatic insects love it as do the birds who bathe in it.
I look forward to getting to know you. :-D

Welcome from Texas, USA. A stream would be a nice thing to have near your garden. I have a creek coming down my road everytime it rains. It doesn't water my garden though.

Welcome to the forum! We have a pond, but no stream. I'm going to take a look at your garden now--I'm not familiar with Wales except knowing it's beautiful!
    I just took a look--that's lovely!

The photo looks better than it is.
the lawn is full of moss and god knows what!!!

Intend to build a few small waterfalls so that it can be heard in the garden.

Just trying to get it all into shape as the summer comes, but loads and loads of like ivy that is filling the garden its roots going everywhere. In summer they wrap around virtually anything and come into a flower which is white. It is all over the place but do not know what it is.

Any ideas how to deal with this and just what is it would be very grateful.

    Many thanks

    Steve

Welcome from SE Texas. I'm going to check out your "garden" next. Looking forward to seeing all the things you've got going on your garden(s). Especially around the stream.
