First time two hummers.

    First time I have seen two hummers perched anywhere near each other. These I think are this years youngsters as they do nest early here.

    Facinating birds,..i have only seen them once in reality and was within reach of them,..while on holidaynear near Lake Michigan.

    We have these species the year round. The Rufous is here now also, we had the male on the deck today.

    Hummers are fascinating birds, last year we had salvias in boxes around the deck, we had hummers all summer. They seemed to like the flowers over the feeder.

    I love them!
    But me...always looking down as I garden would probably miss them anyway :)

    Hummingbirds are one of the birds I would love to see in the wild. We don't have them around here though - maybe I'll spot one on a holiday sometime.
