New from Manchester, UK, and can you Identify these Flowers?

These flowers are growing around some tree saplings in my garden. Can any other you detect what it is? I think it's very pretty. :3

Hi there, from the colour of the flowers I might guess violets as I have lots in my garden right now. Any chance of a close up shot of bloom and/or leaves?

Well having enlarged the image I think they are wild violets.

 

Hi SYP! Greeting s from New England. Hope you enjoy this site, the folks here are great.

Could your plant be blue-eyed grass? (Sisyrinchium) It is difficult to see in the photo what the leaves look like. Blue-eyed grass is a iris relative and the leaves look alot like grass. Sometimes it grows wild in a meadow or lawn and the leaves are all but indistiguishable.The flowers tend to bloom at the tips of the leaves. The whole plant is short, maybe 6 inches tall.

Good luck with your identification. If you are able to take a clearer picture (including the leaves!) we can probably help you more.

I am truly swaying towards the flower being wild violas at the moment, but there are parts of it where I think otherwise. Still, it remains a mystery.

 

Sorry but the new pictures are not really much more help. I think the top one may be a Geranium of some sort
Very difficult to get close ups without a really good camera isn't it?
