Further to my flowering :-D the first Papaver Linum perenne from last year's sowing,first time that blooms The first Rose
Theo, I am assuming you started the papaver from seed. Is the germination difficult or just poor. I have tried to grow these and have not had any success with them. Is there a secret?
thank you very very much everybody, for seeds :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D and for your good words :-D :-D Cheryl the papaver are from this year's sowing and Linum perenne are from last year's sowing ,the Linum blooms the second year :-D Carolyn I think it's easy to germinate Papaver:-? :-? I will write what I do planting the seeds in January or February ,,within a small pot I put charcoal in the bottom chopped and after I put peat dust and spreads the seeds [were not covered with dust]sprinkle with purified water and cover the pot with a bag... I hope I helped I find it hard to grow Meconopsis[blue Papaver] blooms every day and one of my plants today Convolvulus cneorum Yesterday rose open too much A month ago a friend gave me a graft from Nertera ,grow really fast,but does not know what kind it is Nertera ?? very small white flowers
also flourished Lysimachia atropurpurea plant my seed from last year Hipeastrum also looking forward to my blossom Melianthus major,But unfortunately broke bud,plant a seed Melianthus 4 years ago ,first time turns out flower

Wow. nice blooms. I also love Alstroemeria. But I couldn't find any around here I also love waterlilies. Had two in big tubs, but left them outside to freeze ( I was told to do so...) and I am waiting to see if it was OK or not...
