    Theo, I am assuming you started the papaver from seed. Is the germination difficult or just poor. I have tried to grow these and have not had any success with them. Is there a secret?

    Cheryl the papaver are from this year's sowing and Linum perenne are from last year's sowing ,the Linum blooms the second year :-D

    Carolyn I think it's easy to germinate Papaver:-? :-? I will write what I do :)
    planting the seeds in January or February ,,within a small pot I put charcoal in the bottom chopped and after I put peat dust and spreads the seeds [were not covered with dust]sprinkle with purified water and cover the pot with a bag...

    I also planted some Adonis but have 4 seedlings, very SMALL :(

    these days starts the big tourist season the island where I live :-D and the hotel where I work is too much work....This is why I have not been near you these days :-D :-D

    Wow. nice blooms. I also love Alstroemeria. But I couldn't find any around here :(

    I also love waterlilies. Had two in big tubs, but left them outside to freeze ( I was told to do so...) and I am waiting to see if it was OK or not...
