It was round and bright and shinny and I haven't seen it since last Thursday. It has rained most of every day since last Thursday and when it wasn't raining the sun still stayed hid. I broke down and planted a cutting garden on Sat..........in the rain part of the time. Checked this morning and have Cosmos and Purple Zinnias coming up. Part of the Zinnia seeds I planted were old (2009) and I didn't see any of them sprouting so I guess I will have to replant that area. This rain has done wonders for my yard. All my plants have been singing and dancing......neighbors don't know what to think. ;)

We have already had days and days and days of nothing but that bright and shiny evil daystar so I wouldn't miss it at all if it stayed shining on your for a few weeks.

Glad you plants are enjoying the warmth though.

I'm waiting for strange things to appear in our Texas sky--rain clouds!

Glad to hear you have things coming up in your garden. I don't have much yet.... it's still a bit too early for most things here in Northern New Jersey. Did notice that my Peruvian Lily was just peeking above ground this a.m. Glad you finally got a bit of sunshine. It's been raining here for 2 days but that's a good thing. It's been so dry for so long they were saying if we didn't get some rain there might have to be drought restrictions! Ooohhh noooo!! All my baby plants! It's not fun hauling bath water by the bucket to water during drought restrictions.

Yes luv those droughts and water restrictions are a pain for gardeners. That's what happened to my veggie garden last year. No only was the summer super hot but we had water restrictions as well. I finally just gave up.
