    Calin-I had to scroll up to the photos again to get your point. Very funny. And yes, the black behind the blossoms does make the color pop.

    :D The "dark" is a very shady spot under a huge red oak and other woods at the end of my house.

    The shade is 60-70 feet away..the rose gets full sun all day until about 5pm.
