WOWSERS! Those are big houses. I would get lost in one of those. Waaaaaay too much inside work to want one of them though. Give me the garden any day, though.

    It's nice to dream...sigh,
My favorite is the third photo ... in Pinehurst Texas. It is selling for a mere $2.5 million. I really think this one is the most 'me'

Nope, not for me. I like a garden where I know the plants; I put them in and cared for them; and if there were hired "gardeners" it would mean that I was dead.
Gardens are very personal, at least the best ones are.

Honestly... If I inherited a large sum of money... I would not buy anything like that. Nor would I want to hire a crew of people to tend to my gardens. What's the fun in that?
I would, however, buy myself an island and maybe hire one or two locals to help me out while I was out exploring the rest of the world.
    :-D

Oooh, if only that Lottery ticket would pay off..... This link inspired me to Google a bit further on manor houses for sale in the UK. Beautiful estates with even more beautiful gardens, drooooool... :D

Those are all nice, but my idea of a spectacular garden is Sjoerd's!!! Much more personality, interesting plants and drool factor.
