Good morning all....or early afternoon that is. Into the low 90's again today :'( but might cool down to fairly normal temps by the end of next week.
Also a chance of some rain later this week so Randy is getting the last two rain barrels hooked up to the guttering in hopes of having something to fill them.

I have a few things on his to-do list for this weekend and we both got a late start this morning so better get my whip out to keep him in line.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 5°C and sunny. I had a great day yesterday out in the yard. Spent most of the day prepping the beds, topdressing and weeding and there are only 2 gardens left to do. I saw the seasons first Hummingbird too! I had advertised perennials for sale and sold a few Hosta's yesterday. So what did I do? Promptly went to the store and bought 2 more Hosta's! I think I officially have Hosta Fever ... 'Queen Francine' and 'St Elmos Fire' now have a place in my gardens :) I love this time of year!
    Have a great day all!

Happy Sunday morning. It will be another sunny day with temps reaching 90F. Today's chores... fertilize and mow... and pull weeds as I go! :stew2:

currently 63F and 95%humidity. Just set out 24 kohlrabi transplants, must wait for other garden to dry a bit to plant cabbage (Late Flat Dutch) Have to dig out remainder of canna that overwintered unexpectedly so I can plant beans. I have to mow too. It seems to rain at the most inopportune times.

Happy Monday morning. There's a slight chance of rain today and temps will be right back at 90F.
No work for me today (I love these 3-day weekends). I'm helping the church put together a 60th anniversary commemorative booklet. So have to go teach one of the guys how to use his scanner. Then into town to get printing quotes. Also need to stop at the grocery store. And I still have some weeding and watering to do. Oh yeah... and house could use some cleaning.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 11°C and raining. The plants and trees sure look happy! It's going to be a long, soggy day for me today, working outside. Maybe I'll get to have an early day :)
    Have a great day all!

Happy Tuesday all. Currently 50F and raining here in So. ME. We did have a nice weekend, but other than that it's been raining for a week and a half. We need it so I'm trying not to complain. Enjoy your day!

Happy Tuesday morning. Yesterday was a scorcher... temps made it into the 100Fs! Today should be cooler though... and we have a 60% chance of rain this afternoon. Sure hope they're right. We really need it.

Good morning all. Temperature is where it should be for a May morning, upper 60's. But that is to only last a few days then we will settle into summer temperatures for the long haul. Overcast and a chance of rain...more like the clouds are supposed to spit on us at some point but our forecast is for so little rain it probably won't be measureable. Appears all the good stuff is again....wait for it.....east and south of us.

Cheryl, 100's!!! I am so not ready for that again, made it to 100 the first time last year on June 13, maybe we can hold off longer this year but somehow I doubt it.

Good Morning All! Hope we have a dry day today..1 1/2" as of 2:00 yesterday. But it was a nice gentle overnight one, so it soaked in and didn't run off. Wet today to work in the garden, but not the greenhouse. Ollie will be here today. Run, run, run.
