Last year I went to Nieces Grad.Party I was going to show some pictures to My Sister pictures of flowers. Was going to divide some. And wanted her to pick what she wanted. we passing pictures around. She said "I do not want to see them. I don't like flowers. I was kinda taken back. But all the time she sat there just a frown. Well was at Sister again. Here she is again. Friend of BIL aunt.Who is a very nice lady.She says " I bet you brought pictures again" Told her I did -but NOT to show to Her.Sis just winked at me.
I have one neighbor just like that! And my other neighbors are as flower happy as I am. The neighbor that isn't a fan is surrounded by a "U" of flower lovers.
BIL says he doesn't know why his Aunt brings her. Being around her is a downer. I'm up beat. And like to joke.
She is the loser--no pretty pictures to look at; no conversation about gardens and plants; and is known as a "downer." She deserves your sympathy, but not your company!
Can't imagine someone not liking flowers. Even if they had allergies, flowers are still pretty. Jerry Said someone who automatically turns his head to look as he passes by any garden center......even in the dead of winter.
There must be some serious psychological distress associated with flowers :'(. That is sad for her, she is missing out on so much. I am glad most people are not like this. What a bummer her life must be, huh?
For years I didn't grow glads, just because they were used a lot in funeral arrangements and I had a time in my life that was...funeral heavy. I'm better now and don't make that automatic association like I did. You know, sometimes things just remind you of other things....
What a sad lady she must be. I can't imagine never wanting to see flowers or smell their sweetness. Life would be so dull without them to fill our lives with their beautiful colours.
I called Baby Sis. Our Mother passed away 5 years ago. Just giving each other a hug on the phone.She said The lady is that about everything. Showed video of their Hot air ballon. Said that was STUPID.I don't think she even likes herself.
Told Sis next time they had a party. We would stop and pick BIL aunt up. And drive her there.She still drives but not in city..Show video of BIL new unicycle .They are 20 years younger then us.
