    My double columbines just keep producing.

    My dinner plate Climatis. This plante is about 20 years old, and yes the bloom are almost the size of a dinner plate.

    Every time I see the flowers I like, I find them and go buy it. Some are little sticks or starter plants but I know I time I may get the garden beauty that I see here.

    Capt, your woodland columbine looks like foam. I had to read what it was. cool!

    It all looks beautiful! I've never seen a yellow allium before or the woodland columbine. Neato bandito :-o

    My wife bought the woodlands about 15 years ago. And we haven't seen them anywhere since!

    Very nice Capt! Love the Clematis and Columbine - cool blues. Is the Woodland Columbine the same thing as Meadow Rue?

    Netty, I looked up meadow rue and they do look kind of similar and may be related. But they showed it growing in bright sunlight and the woodlands do best in shaded areas. Where I have them planted, they are in shade until late afternoon. Then the trees keep them from getting bright sun, more of a muted sunlight.
