Finally have a chance to post these recent blooms.
I planted the Asters from seed. So happy they made it this far.

And picked up this Wave Petunia a few weeks ago. So far so good....

And one I've been waiting for... the Crinum I got from one of my aunts a couple of years ago are "doing their thing"!

The Crinum looks great. Do they come in other colors?

I've seen white or pale pink ones. Actually, I've been wanting to stop at this one house and ask if I can have some of theirs in exchange for some of my mine.
Those are the only colors I've seen... there could be more!

You've got lovely blooms. :D I like that Crinum but they have to come inside in winter here so I think I'll pass on them.

Your asters are a sight. Were they hard to germinate and grow?

Droopy... you can see mounds of them in the yards around here. My aunt keeps trying to give me more and I have to refuse (for now) since these are beginning to multiply.
And the Asters were pretty easy. They sprouted in 6 days. I had them on a heating pad.
I didn't write down when I planted them though. Probably a month later and now 2 months later they are giving me some pretty flowers.

    Thanks Netty, Theodoros and Chocolate.
These are my first Asters. I'm going to have to see if I am able to collect seeds from them.

cherylad I love the Asters. I told my hubby that I wanted them if they could take our Winters and he said I already have 3 of them. They are very far behind yours in the flowering dept.Very nice.
