After moving my cactus several times over several years (which slowed their growth), I finally moved them to these concrete pots. Now they're getting ready to bloom. Good Job, it must like where it is now. The pears that form after the blooms will ripen in mid-Autumn and make really good jelly....or you can eat them like a regular pear but they are much messier.
Thanx toni. I'm looking forward to those pears (which I've never had). Yes Blissful, they've gotten me a couple times already (even when I tried to be careful).
Danny, please take photos of the blooms and show them to us.. IMHO the Prickly Pear Cactus blossom rates pretty high on the beautiful scale.. Hank
