Next to them was the doggie treat table. These are here faithfully all summer long.

Then came the man who makes candles and stained glass in his spare time  (he is a school teacher, I do believe)

A booth that was here once last year and I loved her garden markers. I am glad she came back.

More will be forth coming next week if I don't forget my camera.

Your plants look healthy. I notice you have honey. Do you have your own bees? I like to have a spoonful of honey each day. I try to buy local as it helps with the allergies.

Whether the lady next to you knew it or not, she was very patriotic. Red chair, blue checked tablecloth.

I love farmer's markets and flea markets.

Thanks for sharing your photos with us.

Your tables look wonderful. Your farm market is a bit bigger than ours. We had a lady sell breads last year but she hasn't been this year. I don't know her last name so I can't call her. If I see her at the store, I'll flag her down and talk to her.
Our market was slow because of the holiday. I hope you did great for the first day. People do so look forward to having a farm market.

    Thanks, All!

Netty, unfortunately I don't sell out, But I sell from a "roadside" stand at home, so I was selling plants and produce, whatever was available from the garden and eggs all afternoon.

Don, I do have bees. I am up to 4 hives for the season. If I have another swarm, The neighbor brought one of his nuc boxes up to house them so they have a place to be put if I can capture them.

Kozsta Kid, thanks The berries are yummy, they are the honeoye variety. Hope you get to the market soon.

Cheryl, Staying away from the bread, as good as it looked, wasn't too difficult...I have no appetite for much in the morning and... I filled up on strawberries as I was picking. then I had a cookie from the cookie lady, whom I wasn't able to photo since I ran out of room on my card.

Luke, the secret to nice berries is new plants every other year and fertilizer, weeding, hoeing, thinning, weeding, weeding and some more weeding  then pick every other day for weeks until they are done bearing. Then mow them off and start over. Weeding, weeding, weeding.

    Thanks Theo.

I refer to dog treats as "cookies". So glad you had REAL cookies instead! :D

Cheryl, Yes me also, but I think these dog cookies would also be edible. The ingredient list is short, but all thinks we could consume. I just think ours taste better :D.

    Way to go, C!

I have been waiting and waiting for you to resume your Market and market fotos. I recognize that picnic bench from last year.

It is interesting to see what you have to sell, but also what others bring to the market.

    Great posting.

Good morning, what a fantastic stall, now I would like to order the following,

6 lots of strawberries, because they look so yummy
[here they are called punnets of strawberries]
    1 large container of honey
because I know it does not contain any nasties,

Some of the delicious fresh vegies, some bread from the next door stall....Oh and could I please have it delivered. ;) ;)

Thanks, Dooley. and here I was thinking it was a small market. I think we could use more customers and growers/producers of quality items and food. :-D

Thanks S. I had an annual event last Saturday, but all my batteries were bad :( and there were some of the nicest "things at that event. yesterday was the first of the regular markets and tomorrow starts the beginning of a new market for it and me. So tonight I am in the midst of a bread baking bonanza. I have 4 loaves made, and 10 more rising in different stages. This is the only Monday market I will be doing, but it is a holiday here and they are "kicking off: the new market during the village parade for the holiday otherwise I will be doing this one on Thursday's. More pictures of the event tomorrow.

Jewell, I fall into bed every night and my eye's pop back open at 6:48 every morning to my dismay...sometimes I would just like to sleep a little longer .

Chocolate....Right away, I'll try to get them in the mail tomorrow, but I am afraid the snail mail may take too long and it won't be quite fresh when it gets there, Will that be okay?
