We were in Chicago for the Wright Plus Tour, but stayed an extra day so we could go to the Chicago Botanical Gardens. I highly recommend giving them a visit if you are in the Chicago area. I actually enjoyed this botanical garden as much (if not more) than the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis (which was also phenomenal)! Ooooh, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! How many days did you spend in there? I think I would have needed a sleeping bag and some camping food, unless the guards carried me shrieking out of the gate. Then I could probably camp there and wait for opening hours the next day.
