Cute bunnies. They even come with their own nighttime camouflage suits. Time to plant more carrots!!

Oh, I love the bunnies they are gorgeous. And bunny pooh for the garden!!
We have way too many dogs in our neighborhood to be able to provide a safe home but I would really like to have one.

I wouldn't have asked for them, even though I wanted the bunny poop for fertilizer and when she called and asked if I wanted the rabbits, I said I didn't have cage and she found one for me and brought them to me....wow, what service. I was delighted. They are as soft as can be.

So cute! Wonder why would anyone give them away, even for cash! I'm caressing the idea to have (at least at the outset)one hen (for free eggs & manure) pretty soon. As soon as my parents give the green lights, my factory will be operational too :D

    Wow... they sure are pretty.
I once had a pet rabbit. It was house-broken too. Just hung around and played like a dog or cat.

Carolyn, those lucky bunnies! Think of all the greenery they will get from your garden, all the attention from the family, and all the gratitude for doing what comes naturally (I mean the manure, not little bunnies.) By the way, did you ask if they were all males or all females? If there is a mix . . . .
Oubee, chickens are flock animals, so you need at least two. One hen is a lonely hen, and a sad hen. Go for broke and get three!

Oubee, get more than one chicken as Jane recommends. They are naturally more content in a group. The family has multiples of rabbits....this was an OOPS litter. Someone got out and had a party before the family realized it. I don;t know if someone forgot to latch a door or one of them was a houdini or what, but the had an unexpected litter and no room in the Inn, so to speak :D .

Jane they are all bucks from a litter. So, no babies anytime for them. Just a fertilizer factory going on.

I don't think I've ever seen such handsome rabbits before Carolyn. They should generate enough manure to keep your plants happy. :-D
I hope that cage is preditor proof though as, around here, bunnies tend to end up as an easy meal for prowling foxes.

Congratulations! :D They're adorable. Have you named them yet? I feel that the one with a silver lining should be called "Storm Cloud" or just "Cloud". :D

Oh,those rabbits are pretty.I would like 2 or 3 but I don't think hubby would go for it. He would end up taking care of them in the winter.Every time I see lush clover on our walks I think I would take it home if we had a rabbit. I think they like clover??
We have 3 hens. They are no trouble but must be securely shut up every night.
I got buckets of free rabbit poo from an ad on Craigs list.

Eileen, I put them in the chicken yard inside an electric fence. They should be okay.

Droopy, That is a great name. I will pass it along to caity as she will be the care giver for now.

    SnS, they LOVE clover. :stew1:
