Finally I'm in the giant tomatoe competition! My giant ! ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden ) This is my official entry at 62gm. :-D I just pick this little giant from the mini farm and it is still sitting on the scale right now .... oops Becky just put it into the fridge. YES!!! I DID IT!!!
Blissful Photons thanks, if you can't grow something just try and try and I am sure you can one day. We have nothing to lose but everything to gain! Thanks Droopy, had it with my homemade honey glazed ham for breakfast this morning :-D . Originally I wanted to make tomatoe sauce or puree for pastas ... maybe from the next batch of toms that I intended to plant. Cherylad, Lukeypukey, Waretrop and all stewies, a big THANK YOU for all your support. Now I can say "I can plant tomatoes" and my next step is "I know how to plant tomatoes!"
Way to go, KK-- it has been a long journey for you, hasn't it? I bet that you will enjoy that tom more than any other. Chapeau! I hope that you will have many more.
Awesome, KK. Glad this has been successful this time. Even failure is a success when you learn something from it, you know.
Thanks all! Mart, all the plants now have curly leaves and this fruit is from the healthiest of the lot. Right now I have only 2 plants left. Sojerd I tried to enjoy that very first tom but it is kind of a sour!
It sure looks good to me. Got some bacon- BLT sounds good to me. DH tomatoes still green-can hardly wait until they turn
