I posted this plant earlier for identification and just wanted to share that it has survived the winters here in North Alabama with a lot of mulching.
It is a beautiful plant to me, hope you enjoy the pictures.

Hi, I agree, they are just lovely trees. The lorrikeets here love the nectar and have been known to get drunk on it.Even to the point of not being able to fly for a while!

Wow. I got one in a pot. Wondering if I ever get to see such blooms.
How cold was it would you say?

    Hello,
Sorry I have not been on for awhile and didn't know there was questions about this plant. No, it doesn't have an odor, and I think we had a few days with temperatures from 5-10 degrees. But on the whole it was a mild winter this past year but the year before we had more cold weather and longer periods of cold dipping down to zero a few times if I remember correctly. I just hope it will survive this year; the trunk has gotten to be a good size so I will need more mulch to keep it warm. Thank you,
    flowerlady
