Yes Crafty.... I was so furious! I'd been waiting and waiting and saw one evening that they were just opening. The next day when I got home from work... I anxiously grabbed my camera and went out to see them. But... "chomped up stems" were all that was left. :'(
I knew a man who had a few Peruvian Daffodils. He would plant his bulbs a few weeks apart so they did not all flower at once.

Peruvian Daffodils Odd name as they are only distantly related to Narcissus and they do not come from Peru.
@Palustris, When the man told me about his Peruvian Daffodils, I did not even consider the name Peru.
