I was sitting here reading posts and saw one I posted earlier entitled, "Time sure flies" It came to me that I joined Gardenstew on July 1, 2005 and I was member number 100. Now, it is July, 2010 and I'm sure the number is much larger than 100 with all the gardeners that have joined in our discussions and sharing here. I think that I've learned a lot and made a lot of new friends from around the world. Thank you, Frank, for starting this forum that brings us all together. dooley
I was living in Arizona then an I had a bigger garden both front and back. We had a lot of space and grew fruit, vegetables and lots of flowers. It was on a hillside so I had several gardens that were terraced. I don't have so much space now but I'm getting a bit past the big garden age. I'm still going to be here even if it's just one or two beds. I would really miss everyone if I couldn't garden or be here anymore. dooley
Happy Stew anniversary Dooley! Just to let you all know that I'll be making it easier soon to track your progress and contributions on GardenStew, in a fun way!
Congratulations Dooley! We are so glad you are here, but I am really glad I found the Stew, too! I have enjoyed all of you!
Dooley I remember when you joined us here and we talked about how your username came about. :-D Since then we've come to think of you as a dear friend and a lifetime member of the Stew family. Happy Anniversary!!
Dooley, When I joined, yours was one of the first posts I read. I figured if everyone on the Stew was as much fun and as nice as you, I had found a great gardening site. I was right! Happy anniversary!
Happy Anniversary Dooley!!! I think you and I are the only members whose hubbies have joined too even though they don't garden.
I think dr joined to help Frank with the problem gnomes. Chance and the other members helped with that one, too. No more pesky gnomes bothering people on here until recently. dooley
Happy anniversary! Your energy and projects continue to inspire me! You help make the Stew what it is
Actually Chance and her security service protected the gnomes and got rid of the pesky snotgurgles who were attacking the gnomes. Chance is now retired but she misses her paws on ground troopers who were able to help Frank out with the snotgurgle problem. That was a long time ago. dr
