I am trying to stay as organic as I possibly can, but the aphids have taken over. There are also black ones and maybe reddish ones too. Anywoo, I started with organocide and it didn't work. Then I mixed in a little more, still didn't work. So now I have ordered 1500 lady bugs and added more flowers for them. They will arrive tomorrow...
    Any suggestions??

Sounds like you have the right solution on the way. Those little hungry buggers will take care of them. I to like to stay as organic as possible too. Let us know what happens. :stew1:

I sure hope so! I was out there a little bit ago and found some eggs, baby ones (I think) and an actual ladybug, but if she mated there must be two adults! I will still need the others~the aphids are really bad!!!
    THanks!

You can use a strong spray of plain water to knock them down. That will get rid of a good portion of them. They will not be able to climb up the plant once they are off. If that doesn't get them under control better you can also use a sprayer with a little bit of dishsoap in it and spray them with that, but you don't want to spray any ladybugs with it...

Well the ladybugs just arrived! I have stored them in the fridge and will put them in the garden tonight!
