Gloria, look in Member's Gallery, I posted some of the Mt. Fuji's. They are a rose color, but there is also a fushia, purple and midnight blue. They are a hybrid, so they don't come back true to form, the pinwheel effect is not as pronounced. I order new ones every year, from Park Seed.

VERY VERY pretty flowers u should be very proud of them southern bell. Keep the pic's uh coming. Most of my yard is bushes and trees that bloom flowers. Just stared a flower bed about a month ago. The first pic and the rose are my favorite ones.
Thanks Gizmo and G bean, I try real hard to have pretty flowers. Very relaxing to walk around the yard to see whats in bloom and what critters are crawling. I'd like to see pics of your bushes and trees, Gizmo. Do you have any posted?

HI ALL! I've been buzy and no time till now to check in. Gloria great pictures!Do you take pictures for your local newspaper? If no, you should. Greasy bean sent me a big box of beans and I have been really enjoying them, heard you gotcha a box yourself. Good aren't they. I have managed to have them for breakfast ,lunch and supper. sauteed cooked ones in butter and poured then over grits, real good! Have lots to do today need to get to it, maybe I'll find another mess of snakes, sure are a bunch here! Maybe you can post some of them for me till I get time to figure out how. I know they won't be nearly as pretty as your flower! Perdi
Well, hi Perdi, glad you decided to join us again. I'll be glad to post the pics of your snakes for you. What kind of snakes are they. I'm not a big fan of snakes but I will post your pics! Yes, GB sent me a huge box of greasy beans. He also had to tell me a thing or two about stringing and snapping some and shelling others. Which to do what with but was a little late and I shelled all of the first pot full. The second, I did better. I agree with him, really good tasting beans and worth the extra effort to plant.
A Good Evening to you both, Gloria, Perdi and any others who might pass by. I am thrilled Perdi that you were able to bless us here in the Stew with your presence even if for a shot visit. It gladdens the heart each and every time I see that you have posted something for us. I do hope that you have not harmed any of the snakes that you have removed from their winter lodgings. People tend to treat all snakes badly regardless of their benefit to nature and that is one reason I do not permit but a very few people in my garden as they may harm one of my three trusted corn snakes or even my big black snake that have been there most of this season. I am so happy that you folks enjoyed the Greasy Beans. It made it all worth while to grow, tend, and pick them to share with folks such as you Lady Gloria and Lady Perdi. You can be sure the pleasure was all mine. I look forward to sharing at least one more Great tasting bean with you next spring. My Lady Gloria, Please forgive me for not instructing you in the proper way to preparing the note worthy bean before hand. It just slipped my mind that you may have never had the need to cook this type of bean. If any of the worlds greatest chefs happened to dine on a meal that included the Great Greasy Bean of Western North Carolina I am sure that they would have them shipped to their home land at any cost to serve the Kings and Queens. With all due respect they have some very good beans on hand but they do not have the soil that we have to grow our beans. I was told the other day that a bushel of Greasy Beans was selling for $50.00. Now that is a little steep for me and is why I try to grow plenty for our needs and a few neighbors. I will say again that I gain nothing from promoting the Greasy Beans. I just like to make folks aware that the home grown beans are better than the canned beans in the store.
