I went on holiday recently in Lisbon, Portugal and came across a few really neat little gardens :-D I went to the Lisbon botanical gardens, which is considered to be the best garden in the whole of southern Europe! I must say it was fascinating and everyone should go there if they have the chance, highly recommend it to everyone. :D

I'm so glad you enjoyed your holiday Jared. Did you, by any chance, take photographs of the gardens you saw and visited? We do so love to see pictures of where others have been. :-D

I did take some photos, but they where on a film camera and i need to get them developed, it was a very good experience and seriously would do it again, it's nice seeing plants that could survive grow outside of a greenhouse :)

Yeah, it's warm basically all year round :) There is a huge array of plants and it's an amazing place, there a thousands of plants, too many to mention. There are Huge palms which have been bought in from every continent, there are even super rare cycads which are virtually extinct. so many interesting varieties :D

That sounds wonderful! I'd love to see those gardens. Maybe some other year. :D Now, please get those photos developed quickly, I can't wait to enjoy them. :stew2:

I like the Milde gardens too, but we haven't been there for several years. I think a long-week-end trip to Bergen is required. :D
