It's been killing me ever since watching the fantastic video by Sigur Ros. Anyone have an idea of what it is?

Do you know where the butterfly was found? Different parts of the world and even the U.S. have different butterflies so a location would be very helpful.

It appears to be in the Papilionidae family. They are Swallowtails and have been found on every continent around the world except Antarctica. We do have members here from all around the world so maybe someone will have a better chance to ID it.

It reminds me of the local Zebra Swallowtail but the number of white bands on the wings isn't the same and the tail is different.
And it could be a cross between two different species, doesn't happen often but has occurred.

Anyway you can contact the person who made the video to get some information about it?
