Our huge live oak tree outgrew our pretty grapevine tree bench and actually broke it into many pieces, we held it together with plastic slide ties, after removing many bolts etc.the last few years. what to do?, what to do? we searched the internet, and found a new much bigger tree bench, made in light cedar wood, hence the weekend job for me as I did all the painting. My hubby was taking the old bench apart, and surprised me by keeping all intact pieces, he ended up with 3/4 of a bench and smaller ring around our Magnolia tree in front of our house, but I am so happy to have at least this and not just photo's. Both tree benches look fantastic Susie. I'm so pleased that your husband managed to save most of the old one as it looks just right around your magnolia. The new one fits in perfectly with the rest of your garden and the freshly painted gnomes look right at home. :-D
What a good place to sit and wait for the coffee and cake trolley...wouldnt matter if it was a bit late it looks real comfortable.
