Chickadees come for food.

    The chickadees come to the window for food. I just open the window and put my hand out and give them pieces of suet mix.

    Great photo!! The first chickadee that landed on my hand really surprised me. I was loading a feeder with sunflower seeds when an impatient Chickadee landed on my hand and took a seed. Whenever I want a repeat I take down the feeder and hold up my hand with seed.

    I've never been able to get any of my birds to do that!! :( Maybe I should spend more time encouraging them to feed from my hands.
