    Simply beautiful!! I remember visiting a friend's house on Bainbridge Island and her clematis came from under the front porch and climbed up the railing.

    Beautiful clematis - I love them but don't get many blooms on ours.

    Same here, I love em', not many blooms. I know they will grow, I've seen them loaded up with flowers in other yards.

    Something else that doesn't do well here. The rule here is feet in the shade, leaves in the shade. That's tough to do around here. And even when we can make it happen, it doesn't work that well.

    I don't seem to have any luck with climbing vines. My petunia's have grown real well this year. I may stick to them. Wannabe
