I guess this chickadee was right on the edge, but he did come forward and took a bit of food.

He's so tiny and trusting. I'm glad it's you he's picked to put his faith in.

They buzz around me now when I go onto the sundeck. I always have something for them though.

That reminds me of the old fellow that went to Niagara Falls many years ago. He would be in the wooded area hear the falls and all the birds would land on him and take turns hoping from his head and shoulders to his outstretched arms to snatch little bits of food out of his hands.

I was so taken by this he allowed me to stand there and dropped some food in my hands. I an instant they were covering me. It was absolutely wonderful.

Kildale, Don't you just love closeness we can haven with the animal kingdom?

When I used to raise baby birds in need, after they got fledged, they would be out in the trees and fly down and sunbath with me. That disappeared usually after they found a mate. Mainly because I didn't extend my friendship after a little bit of time mainly to get them totally fledged. Sometimes I would have 5 birds hanging around me and the neighbors would stop and warm me about such strange acts by the birds.

Very beautiful sight to see again and I thank you for sharing it with us.
