Door knob lamp ( photo / image / picture from AAnightowl's Garden ) Voila! Here is my lamp. My son helped me with connecting the socket because it took more than two hands to do it. Not sure how well you can see it because it is clear glass. The metal tubing, and the socket & cord set, and glue, are the only purchased items. Oh, I found that e6000 glue at the Dollar Store for only $2.50, so that was much better.
Very nice! I need to start putting all my glass goodies in the same location so I can make something out of them.
And it works! It is so pretty. I am giving away a floor lamp, so the other table lamp can go in my living room soon. TY all.
One of my customer. Very old house. She painted her glass door knobs on Oak Door-I bet that was 150 years old You did great job. I want to replace my back door with glass knob. And make coat rack on barn board + knobs.
Sounds like a good idea Connie. My door knobs had not paint on them fortunately. It made the craft much easier to do. I would love to see the pictures from yours when you get it done.
Recycling at its very best. What a lovely lamp base those door knobs make. You deserve a pat on the back. :-D
