I won seeds for these also from pa would like to know how to start them and how fast do they grow? please thank you
Sometimes I get so busy that I miss some posts. I can't believe I missed this one. Don M, you are some special guy. I can't believe you grow so many plants from seeds. I think "chololate in Australia" does also. I start allot from clippings but never have done well with seeds. You have beautiful flowers there. I am working on starting them along my future secret garden. That would be beautiful.
.your flowers colour is very nice and interesting and also these flowers use in decoration different places.
are these hard to grow from seeds? should I start them in pots or right in the ground? I have never grown them but have always admired them in other peoples yard so any help would be welcome
Hi the plants look amazing but they are actually Hibiscus rather than Rose of Sharon which is Hypericum .
These are easy to grow from seeds. I always have some growing under the bushes. I winter sowed them. I have seeds of each color. However, the plants are 50 feet apart. Some insects might have traveled from one to the other. Most would not have cross-pollinated. If anybody would like some seeds send me a PM with your address. Don
