I've taken a renewed interest in lower light house plants. Does anyone grow Moon Valley Pilea? These are very pretty low light plants. They do like a lot of humidity.I am seeing some pretty ones at plant nurseries. I'm nursing one I've neglected. sNs
I had that in my terrariums. Now I have Pilea depressa growing massively under my benches in my greenhouse. It helps keep the weeds down although I don't know what that is when it grows so wild. It's fun....
Pilea with 600–715 species is the largest genus in the plant family Urticaceae and one of the larger genera in the Urticales and eudicot rosids
I think this is the most beautiful of the Pilea. If you can give it the high humidity it needs it will do well.I first became acquainted with it many years ago when I made large terrariams. sNs
Moon Valley is commonly known as Friendship Plant. It's a favorite for indoor plants for it has a very pleasing apple green leaves and well defined veins. Taking care of moon valley is easy as it only needs moist soil and high humidity. No direct sun needed and perfect for indoor. moderator's note: removed website link, see point 1.1 of usage rules
