My Mom's old Kalanchoes have been trying to bloom for a month. I didn't cover them the last time we had frost and they didn't seem to mind.

And the start I got from my aunt's Primrose Jasmine - Jasminum Mesnyi last year is still relatively small... but it's loaded with blooms.

Lovely Kalanchoes. They are only temporary house plants here. Looks like your spring is in full swing.

Your Primrose Jasmine has such 'sunny' flowers that you can't help but smile when you see them.
Like Jewel we can only grow Kalanchoes indoors here. I would love it if they could tolerate our weather and grow into a lovely border like the ones in your photograph.

That kalanchoe shocked me  I've only seen them in the floral department at the grocery store :-o Quite lovely! Does the little yellow fellow smell wonderful?

Wow! Kalanchoes are only potted plants here too, and short lived ones at that!
They look impressive at your house Cherylad!

    Thanks everyone!
Those Kalanchoes have been growing there for probably about 20 years.. if not more. If they get frost-bite the tops will turn brown. So they just get cut off in Spring and they come right back. But these are the first things that get covered when we expect freezing temps. I've been thinking of transplanted some to the backyard... if I can decide on a spot that gets about the same amount of light.

Strat... I can't smell a thing on the Primrose Jasmine. Oh well... can't have cute little flowers in January/February AND a heavenly fragrance. :stew2:

Meant to add these other two to my last post.
The Georgia Blue Speedwell and a white Calla.

OO those are my two all-time favourite colours!! I love blue and white flowers in the garden and, I have to admit, I'm a little jealous of your Speedwell and Calla Cheryl as they are so pretty.
OK now you've gone and made me soak my keyborad again.
