Happy Sunday morning. Yesterday was supposed to be sunny and warm. NOT! It was a cool 62 and cloudy most of the day. I actually had to put on jeans!
We got just around 1/8th inch of rain overnight. Today is supposed to be the "big" rain day. So far... NOT! But it is much warmer... 72F now but cloudy and breezy. Maybe we'll still get some rain out of this.
In the meantime... guess I'll get out there and start pulling some weeds.

 

Good Monday morning all. Currently 1°C and raining. The school bus's are cancelled again today due to freezing rain this morning. I think the roads are fine so I'll be heading out for some groceries today. Yesterday's fire turned out to be a house 4 doors down. There is nothing left of it just 2 chimneys. Everyone got out as far as I understand, thank goodness!

Happy Monday morning. We got just around 1/8th inch of rain yesterday. I managed to pull most of the weeds between the brief showers. Today... a drizzly commute into work and we might reach 70F for the high.

Thank God winds quit.45mph gusts and cold yesterday. But nice and Sunny right now. Still cold but nice to see creeks and rivers up from Rain Sunday.

 

Good morning all. Just planted my first 4 squares in my square foot garden. Found out how out of shape I am.

 

Those wind blasts night before last & yesterday were awful.Good thing it wasn't so cold.Forecast for today said mostly cloudy but I see a little sunshine out there. Was hoping for a little sun so I can work in my greenhouse.Hard on my joints when it is cloudy & damp in there.

Good morning! Cloudy and rainy this morning. So far only .2 inches but it says clearing this afternoon but it also said scattered thunderstorms. Tomorrow, sunshine and 62 degs. Baking today, I think. Already started with oatmeal scones for breakfast.

Happy Tuesday evening. We had a VERY wet drive up to East Texas today. And evidently we got a good bit of rain here at the house because the gauge is showing just over 1/2 inch. The ground is very saturated and we still have a couple more days of good chances of rain.

 

I never post in the evening but I am alone. I hate to be along since my daughter left me......

The hubby had a business meeting this evening and I am alone. I am going to bed soon. nite nite.....

 

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast. When I walked out this morning I could hear birds singing for the first time this year. I have really missed hearing the birds! Come on SPRING!

Happy Wednesday morning. It's kinda cool out this morning, but the sun is shining. It's supposed to get down to the upper 30sF tonight. I'll have to check the weather report when I get home to see if I need to cover up the plants.
