    They're lovely! I like Primula and I need to find some small beauties this spring. There will be plenty of space in our borders I'm afraid.

    Sadly these Primula allionii will not grow outside. They need to be protected from rain.

    Oh bother! :( We never get a very dry season, no matter what season we're in. I'll have to find something similar then.

    They originate in parts of Italy where there is limestone and they grow under overhangs, so they get plenty of water at the roots, but very little directly on to the leaves which are very sticky.
