The pink cherry blossoms are almost gone. The early azalea is blooming against the gray cedar fence and I just couldn't resist a photo. Azalea ( photo / image / picture from Jewell's Garden ) Plants are really popping out of the ground now. Lots happening, and all the birds in the neighborhood are visiting for cedar bark for nesting material. Cedar bark paths, perennials growing ( photo / image / picture from Jewell's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Jewell's Garden ) Some early seeds (peas, chard) are planted. Got over half of the perennial pots renewed with soil and a few annuals. I love spring
I'm still waiting to see cherry blossoms and azaleas flowering. I do love spring and I'm glad to say that it appears to have arrived here in Scotland at last. Your garden is lovely and the new shed fits in so well and looks right at home.
Beautiful Azalea... I wouldn't have been able to resist taking a photo either. Everything is looking very good over there.
Beautiful Azalea Jewell and the fence highlights it,..love the shape of your garden,..all ready to bloom.
Things are looking quite nice there, Jewell. The paths are looking good and I can see that new little house for your man. Your garden really looks inviting.
Eileen, can't wait to see Picts of spring blooming plants from your garden and others. I really seemed to have missed them here this year with work schedule. Netty spring is definitely special to me too. Cherylad, and Philip thanks. The garden is coming along nicely this year. Sjoerd, we liked your idea of a propane heater for the shed so ordered one off EBay. Not that you need much to warm it with all the glass right now. We are still working on making it weather tight (and adding plants...outside)
