Cheryl, you CAN grow roses! And lots of other beautiful flowers, too. You must be so proud of all you've accomplished since you moved to the old homestead. :smt041

Thank you everyone for the kind words.
    Here's a few more.
There's the Honeysuckle... which I can't take any credit for... it's just been growing on it's own for decades.
And what it doesn't have in "beauty" it sure makes up for it in a heavenly scent!

The Shrimp Plant is still looking a little skimpy from the winter, but there's lots of new growth.

And... big drum-roll please. I traded some of my Black Gamecock/Louisiana Water Iris with the guy at the resale shop for some of his Yellow Water Iris a couple of years ago. Today it finally bloomed!

This next one is a Blackfoot Daisy that was on my list of must have Natives. Now I must have more!

And for a new fav... also on my "Native list"... Lavender. I just love the bunny-ear-like flowers. And the fragrance is BEYOND heavenly. I gotta get more of these! I've been trying and trying for weeks to get a half-decent photo of them. I have to admit... by George... I think I finally did it! :)

These are gorgeous! Your photos encourage me to keep gardening if I can some day have a display even one tenth as lovely!
