You are definitely in the height of spring! Lucky you and lovely blooms. Can't pick a favorite, just a joy to see.
I really do like your colour display. Cor!--I could just look and look and look some more. It is so nice to see such a wonderful collection opf flower pictures.
Cheryl, you CAN grow roses! And lots of other beautiful flowers, too. You must be so proud of all you've accomplished since you moved to the old homestead.
I loved your flowers, especially liked your roses. Can hardly wait til our snow goes so I can get some colorful flowers, too!
Thank you everyone for the kind words. Here's a few more. There's the Honeysuckle... which I can't take any credit for... it's just been growing on it's own for decades. And what it doesn't have in "beauty" it sure makes up for it in a heavenly scent! Honeysuckle ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) The Shrimp Plant is still looking a little skimpy from the winter, but there's lots of new growth. Shrimp Plant ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) And... big drum-roll please. I traded some of my Black Gamecock/Louisiana Water Iris with the guy at the resale shop for some of his Yellow Water Iris a couple of years ago. Today it finally bloomed! Yellow Water Iris ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) This next one is a Blackfoot Daisy that was on my list of must have Natives. Now I must have more! Blackfoot Daisy ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) And for a new fav... also on my "Native list"... Lavender. I just love the bunny-ear-like flowers. And the fragrance is BEYOND heavenly. I gotta get more of these! I've been trying and trying for weeks to get a half-decent photo of them. I have to admit... by George... I think I finally did it!
