Cold frame for my tomato seedlings

    WOW, what a great cold frame!! Did you design and build it?
    Will the tomatoes grow their whole lives in there or do you have room for in ground planting or pots?

    Obviously they will... NOT. In few weeks, they will be transplanted in the garden.

    Yesterday my seedlings looked like this:

    Today they look like this:

    What happened was a malfunction of openining the lid – not Univent’s fault, my improvisation’s fault, trying to open bigger.

    Few hours later, when I came home the lid was closed and 137’ F inside.

    What do you think I could do?

    OMG!!! I think that the roots might be still alive and with some care it might just come back alive. Keeping my fingers crossed.

    I think I would have cried. I had shelving collapes and broke up 2 dozen tomatoe plants. They did come back, so there is hope.

    Oh you poor thing. I am sorry. Hope the roots do survive..but they look fried.
