here is my next back yard project

    we have no shade in the back yard at all so bought my pvc pipe today and instead of shower curtains I am going to use a tarp will take pic when I am done

    Showed this to my hubby and we will probably have one sometime before summer. We have trees but the only place to have a sitting place is under where a lot of birds hang out. A cover like this should take care of that. I like the idea of a tarp, easy to hose off when needed.

    Great idea to use even under a shade tree to keep bird poop off your table, chairs... and head!

    thanks all I got 4-10ft long pieces of pvc pipe and 2 straight connectors I got 1/2 inch pipe then I got 4 2 ft pieces rebar that fit into the ends of pipe to anchor it to the ground and I got 2 8x10 tarps for $7.00 at family dollar hope it warms up enough today to do it

    Marvelous idea, Donna-in-nc; I believe I'll make myself one of those.... I'm thinking 'make the anchoring devices easy to use so unit can be moved to different places and/or orientations..

    I got it done and works very well so far it has been through bad bad wind heavy hail and very heavy rain and it has survived very well will try to get a pic today if no rain my puppies love laying under it when the sun has been out which wasn't very long

    the winds finally destroyed mine we have had some bad bad winds will try again soon
