I have been enjoying other's gardens and began thinking that it must be about time to look in my garden again. We are in Autumn/Fall, but the weather is unseasonably warm and encouraged my 'just have a go' garden, thinking that with colder temperatures soon not much would happen.....Wrong! Wonderful blooms and veggie garden you have! 'Pussy Cat Whiskers' is a plant I'm not familiar with ... very interesting!

Super posting, Choccy. I enjoyed seeing your array of interesting plants. I have to say though, that bench for tea really grabbed me. I very much liked the looks of that. Tea and pauses are so essential to gardening, aren't they?
Lovely, just lovely! We have the "pussy cat whiskers" (Orthosiphon stamineus) here in our Texas garden, and the cypress vine, also. The whiskers are called "cat's whiskers" here, and ours is white, too. I didn't know there was a purple variety. Now I'm on the hunt . . . . Thank you for showing us your flowers and veggies--you do have a green thumb all the way to your shoulder!
Beautiful produce you have growing, my garden always picks up and gets busiest in the Autumn...just like me. Orthosiphon aristatus (Cat's Whiskers) I have one in my garden, it's trying to come back this Spring but I don't hold out much hope for it. I forgot to take a cutting before the first freeze last year
Thankyou everyone for the kind remarks Yes Barb I have been tardy in posting We have had family here from overseas,a new grandaughter, a wedding and the most time has been taken up with looking after my husband,Kerry, who is awaiting a hip replacement in July, so extra TLC has been needed, so please forgive me Barb, these are the real reasons. Donna S, petrea is a good vine to use if you don't like the fieceness of wisteria, it is a more soft twinning vine is the same colour and is evergreen, not like wisteria which drops the leaves everywhere.The petrea flowers can be double or single.The leaves are very rough..just like sandpaper. Double flower petrea ( photo / image / picture from chocolate's Garden ) I hope the picture is good enough to show the double flower. Sjoerd...I thought it was compulsory for every garden to have at least 1 'cup of tea place' I sit there sometimes to 'have a smoke' even though don't smoke![Good excuse for a sit down] It seems to work for some others! KK...you were here yesterday ...weren't you? Yes I will be keeping an eye out for the 'purple pussycat' too.
You have a great garden there Chocolate. Really enjoyed your photos. Would love to get my hands on that Sandpaper vine and the pussycat whiskers plants, those are new to me.
