I think the front garden is bigger that the back. We have some huge fir trees and lots of grass, not the kind you cut though as I got rid of all the lawns. Front gardens like this have apealled to me since I was a child. I used to 'go on safari' to see how many different creatures lived there. I'm sure I freaked my mother out quite often with the creepy crawlies I took indoors to let her see.
You are right about the bugs one finds. In one year, including male, female and young, I photographed about 175 bugs and spiders. Built up my collection OK.
I'm with Eileen about the safari comment, those type of spaces enthralled me as a kid! Looks mighty fine Kildale.
