Tree were all dieing on backside. What we could see from the front looked great, but what we saw from 5 windows looking out was ugly. Hubby started this yesterday and just finished. He was real careful with my creeping phlox. I think it will look good when the knockout roses grow bigger.

Hi Donna,..i see exactly why you got rid of them,..not a nice sight from inside looking out,..it looks a tad bare just now but the roses will make a far better image when they grow and bloom.

It looks very nice now but once the roses begin to get comfortable, this is going to look excellent.

I like it much better, it will be great when the roses grow. Never been a fan of the row of bushes along the house that was so popular in the 1970's.

I like it better now too. I've never liked trees/shrubs right up against a house.

You must keep us updated as the plants all grow and flower for you. Now that the trees have gone you got another garden space to play with. :-D

Thanks all. Hubby is real proud of his work and says he enjoyed it to. So maybe there is hope after all.

Your hubby did a great job. I know that kind of work is not easy. It does look updated and I'm certain you'll like it better.
