That is a beauty. This will take a while but scan through the 33 pages at http://www.schreinersgardens.com/listitems_6024_0? to see if you can find it's name. I was able to find names of two that bloomed this year but were not what the package said they would be.
Thanks toni, I shall look in a moment. this iris was another rescue mission from work, I was told to strim these after the caravan had been turfed from its plot obviously I got the spade out and planted them in my garden last autumn. it seemed like an eternity waiting to see if it flowered. absolutely delighted with the results :-D :-D
