    Hello!

Quick introduction...My name is Britt, I live in the Niagara Region in Canada :)

One of my dreams was to be able to have a garden of my own, and recently myself and my boyfriend got ourselves a home with a huge backyard! :D I have planted a few things so far, some vegetable plants and a few different herbs. There are some mysterious plants growing in the garden, hopefully soon I will learn what they are!

I am hoping to learn a lot here (which I am sure I will) and I am also happy to meet new people!

Hi Britt--Welcome to Garden Stew! Congrats on your new home, but more importantly congrats on your new garden! Send any photos of mystery plants here & we will help you identify them.

BTW, my family owns an old farm south of Buffalo NY. Throughout my childhood we would head up to Niagara Falls. Aren't you in wine country your side of the border?

Britt, welcome from central Texas! We lived near Rochester, NY for years, and loved to visit Canada. We actually prefer the Texas weather, though  .

Thank you :) I most certainly will post pictures of the plants at some point. Yes, I am in the wine country. I am actually thinking of growing grapes at some point! But one thing at a time, haha. Buffalo is a really neat place, I haven't been there in years but plan on visiting there soon :D

Buffalo has hit hard times, but the waterfront is having a mini-revival. My family grew grapes in New Jersey & we made wine with them. Our first year was our most successful; it went steadily downhill from there! I am guessing you will manage to be more successful than that!

(I seem to have trouble quoting properly)
