Last year the cactus in one pot bloomed and not the other. This year looks like it's a banner year as both pots will bloom. Notice all the Pear Buds that popped. I didn't expect this. I'll post the blooms as they happen, hopefully, since they bloom for one day only.

Nice looking Prickly Pears Dan. A good reason to bloom this year. Looking forward to the pics.

P.S. I haven't seen any iron work lately, any new items?

Thanx Jerry. I like cactus 'cause I don't have to do anything special for 'em to grow, but I didn't expect this type of growth.
As for Iron, nothing new yet. If I do I'll be sure to post.

Good looking plant. After the blooms will be the fruit called Prickly Pears. In the fall they will ripen into a dark maroon color and be very sweet. They make a good snack and even better jelly.

Well you can't say there isn't any new growth on those can you? They look really healthy and I look forward to seeing them in flower.

Danie; I was worried you forgot us. Your cacti look great. Sorry to not see any new projects, but am glad you are still here. We love your ironwork.

For some reason, I always think it's a little miracle when a cactus blooms. Bet it's going to be great looking.

Thanx to all. I haven't forgotten about any of you. Between working lots of hours at my job and other life things, I haven't had too much time for my hobbies or much of any thing. Things at one end of my life are starting to taper so I'm hoping to get some iron worked.
