Want to buy metal one with wheels that is made well. Seen some at lumber yard store. Look like made out of recycle pop cans. And plastic ones was worse. Been dragging hose around a lot this year

Most big garden centres will have these in stock. Hannay and Hoselock (don't know if you have them in Iowa though) are good makes.

On way home stopped and bought sweet corn. Have gotten it from him for years. Seen had heavy duty hose reel.He needed one that could hold more hose. So got it for $65. Seen one line same brand $190 -free shipping. But would have to put it together.

I'm glad you found one that you like and at a reasonable price. It should make things so much easier for you now.

Good for you Koszta Kid, Enjoy that corn, too. Ours is beginning to look like a failure, here. If a farmer doesn't have irrigation there isn't any corn to be had. I heard $8.50 a dozen from someone just today??????? I sell small quantities at my markets so it is usually by the ear and not the dozen, but that is getting pricey.

Your local garden centre is probably the best place to go. They will have a range of different hose reels and will be able to offer you advice.
