In May 2012, I adopted a Oakleaf Hydrangea that was a tear out at a job. I had to really baby it through the summer with a lot of TLC because of the heat and drought. ( photo / image / picture from Kay's Garden ) I had to cut it back by about half. There were days that I would come home to find it sadly drooping. So nice to be able to give plants a home and see them thrive!
Good job, Kay. I adopted three from the grocery store floral shop 3 years ago for 99 cents each and have been babying them along. They are growing really well but no blooms this year...but the plants are pretty as they are.
