Can you tell me the ideal growing conditions for a clivia please. My young one puts out new leaves, but when they get to a certain size the leaves go yellow and die. :(

As you can see my first pot has 21 in it when I went to repot it. Now I ran out of soil. I counted all the plants in the other pots and I should have 42 after splitting them. Guess it's good that I got shamed into doing that job.

Joe, I don't know what to say. My clivias have been very easy to grow. They do lose leaves occasionally, but it is in the nature order of things. & the plants produce more new leaves than they lose. Could you be over watering?

Barb---On my goodness, will you have room for all those clivias? Can you imagine them all in bloom at the same time?

They have been blooming for many many years already. It is a beautiful display but it will be better spread along the greenhouse window one after another rather than all stuffed in the same pot.

I have a variegated one somewhere. I will look harder when the sun comes up. It has been a very slow grower compared to the natural color. When I find it I should repot it and get it outside for the Summer.
